The elegant and exquisitely shaped sculptures of Constantin Brancusi (1876-1957) are easily among the most iconic sculptures created in the twentieth century. There are those idiots who define my work as abstract, he once said; yet what they call abstract is what is most realistic. What is real is not the appearance but the idea, the essence of things. This volume includes 35 color images; a commentary by Carolyn Lanchner, a former curator of painting and sculpture at MoMA, accompanies each work, elucidating its significance and its context.

I recently picked up the Constantin Brancusi artist series piece from MoMA, and I’m really enjoying it. The used condition has a charming authenticity to it that new pieces just can’t replicate. It’s a fantastic conversation starter!

Incredible Piece, Worth the Price
I am thrilled with my Brancusi artist series sculpture! The used condition adds character, and the craftsmanship is just exquisite. It looks perfect in my home office. If you appreciate modern art, you won’t regret adding this to your collection!

Condition Not as Expected
I bought the Brancusi from MoMA hoping for a collector's item, but the used condition was a bit rougher than described. Some minor scratches that weren't mentioned. Still, it’s a beautiful piece that I’m keeping, just wish I had a better idea of its actual state.

Beautiful Art, Slightly Disappointed
I love this Brancusi piece! The design is stunning and definitely makes my living room pop. However, the used condition wasn’t clear enough in the listing. There were some visible blemishes that caught me off guard. Still, I’ll keep it as it is a classic work.
