This paper emphasizes on the contrasting biodiversity of Bhawal National Park and Lawachara National Park of Bangladesh. The forest of Bhawal National Park falls under moist deciduous type and the forest of Lawachara National Park falls under mixed evergreen type of forest. The main purpose of the present study is to compare the floristic distribution (qualitative and quantitative analysis) between two study areas in Bhawal National Park and Lawachara National Park. The qualitative study includes the name of plant species, distribution pattern of plant species, duration of lifespan and leaffall of plants, life forms, economic/ecological importance. Quantitative analysis was done to get a clear picture of a community structure in quantitative terms, value estimation of frequency, density, abundance, area coverage, importance value index and index of similarity of species by using standard formulas.
