Este es un trabajo sobre la lengua turca y su estrecha relacin con el Islam, y la lengua rabe. Partiendo de la premisa consistente en que la lingstica se preocupa del estudio cientfico del lenguaje humano, quisiramos, a la luz de ello, estudiar una parte del lenguaje turco de un modo cientfico. En este estudio, vamos a destacar vocablos caractersticos del habla del pueblo turco y a la vez examinaremos en material escrito la presencia de voces y locuciones islmicas en su lenguaje diario y su vnculo con la sociedad y la religin. Agruparemos vocablos turcos de origen islmico, con el fin de mostrar el aporte cultural en el idioma turco. Los vocablos que van a ser incluidos fueron introducidos en la vida del pueblo a travs de la convivencia a lo largo de cuatro siglos entre el pueblo rabe y el turco y tambin gracias al Islam, y a su Libro Sagrado, el Corn. Este estudio no se reduce a la realizacin de un diccionario, ni siquiera lo es. Es nada ms que un nuevo campo de estudio lingstico que hasta hoy no ha sido explorado. Nuestro objetivo es dar a conocer al lector de habla hispana, especialmente, algo del legado cultural islmico en la lengua turca.
