The present study was conducted to determine the comparative resistance of ten genotypes of conventional and transgenic cotton was studied under field conditions. The results revealed that infestation of spotted bollworm was high on squares, flowers and bolls of FH207. The infestation of pink bollworm was high on CIM2015 followed by PKR101, CIM554, FH207 and CRSM07.The infestation on squares and flowers of CIM554 was significantly high followed by PKR101, CRSM07, CIM2015 and FH207. Overall infestation of bollworm complex was found to be high in CIM554, CIM2015 and FH207 as compared to other transgenic and conventional cott0n genotypes. However, BT05, SITARA08 and FH133/14 emerged as comparatively resistant varieties.
