Sie basiert auf einer qualitativen, branchenbergreifenden Analyse der Unternehmen Carhartt Europe, Degussa GmbH, ERCO Leuchten GmbH, Lexus (TDG), Deutsche Telekom AG, ThyssenKrupp AG und dem ZDF, jeweils vertreten durch die Marketingleitung oder die Geschftsfhrung Deutschland. Neben der Abbildung aktueller architektonischer Typologien und erkennbarer Gestaltungsmustern wird die gegenwrtige strategische Relevanz innerhalb von Unternehmen dargelegt sowie erkennbare Trends und Entwicklungen aufgezeigt. Darber hinaus verfolgt die Ausarbeitung das Ziel, Mglichkeiten der Architektur auf Grund ihrer Eigenschaften innerhalb der strategischen Prozesse des Unternehmens zu betrachten, die ber die rein reprsentative, passive Verwendung in Form eines Marketing Instrumentes am Ende einer Prozesskette hinausgehen. Architektur wird an dieser Stelle nicht mehr allein als gestaltbares Medium verstanden, sondern als konomisch ausgerichtete Forschung, in der Architektur sich als Vermittler von Verhaltensweisen und Lebensstilen darstellt, die nicht nur beurteilen, welche Rume Architektur schafft, sondern welche gesellschaftlichen Rume durch Architektur erschlossen und ermglicht werden knnen und in der Schnittstelle zwischen Konsument und Marke einen erweiterbaren Nutzen sieht.
