Publie en 1926 par Isabelle Rivire, cette correspondance de 389 lettres est rdite pour la premire fois dans sa version intgrale. De nombreuses notices et notes accompagnent le texte, ainsi que plusieurs index, constituant un prcieux instrument de travail. Les noms propres, rduits des initiales dans l'ancienne dition, ont t rtablis.About the AuthorJacques Rivire (18861925) assure le secrtariat de La NRF de 1911 1914, avant d'en tre le directeur de 1919 sa mort. Romancier (Aime) et essayiste (De la sincrit envers soimme, Rimbaud), il prend part une nouvelle orientation de la critique et laisse une correspondance essentielle la comprhension de la littrature de son temps, dialoguant avec AlainFournier, Gide, Claudel, Proust et Artaud.
