The concepts of accountability and transparency as antidotes to corruption form part of the analytical consideration of this book particularly in terms of how they have both been successfully evoked or used to tackle the rampaging menace of corruption in most polities of the world with the prescription that the same thing can be done within the Nigerian political landscape. The book clearly posits that the only route for sustainable sociopolitical and economic development in Nigeria is a corruptionfree existence which can only be attained through a committed struggle for transparent and accountable policy process.
