This book is a wellillustrated clinical introduction to cranial manipulation techniques that takes the reader through the underlying concepts and examines the techniques themselves. As these techniques become increasingly known and in demand this is the first book that clearly and practically explains them to manual therapy practitioners. An introductory section on the relevant anatomy and physiology is followed by a short history of the development of cranial methodology, as it is relevant to practice today. Specific techniques are outlined in straightforward language and combined with high quality illustrations to show hand positions, direction of motion, etc. Unique in describing both soft tissue and osseous applications and in providing guidance on which treatment option to select Evidence based, males reference to the latest research findings and highlights their clinical relevance Provides both osseous and soft tissue options for treatment and offers guidance on appropriate selection Includes practical exercises to help both the student and the new practitioner to perfect their skills Clear line drawings supplement the text.

Good Content, But Lacking Depth
I found this book on cranial manipulation informative, but it didn't go as deep into some areas as I hoped. The osseous techniques are well explained, but the soft tissue approaches could use more examples. Still, it's a solid addition to my library!

Disappointed with the Quality
Unfortunately, the guide arrived with some pages damaged and it didn't live up to my expectations. I was excited about the osseous techniques but felt the book was poorly put together. I couldn't use it in my practice after that, which is frustrating.
