I was skeptical about yet another translation of 'Crime and Punishment', but this version really brings out the nuances of the characters. The language is clear, making it easier to connect with Raskolnikov's struggles. It’s a must-have for anyone diving into Dostoevsky for the first time.

This translation made 'Crime and Punishment' so much more accessible! The footnotes helped a lot to understand the context behind certain references. I bought it for my book club, and everyone loved discussing it afterwards. Definitely worth adding to your shelf!

Interesting But Has Some Flaws
The new translation has its moments, but I found some parts felt a bit clunky. It’s still a powerful story and I enjoyed it, just wished the flow was smoother. If you’re a fan of classics, it’s worth a read but maybe check out the reviews first!
