Leland Feitz one of Colorado's Great historians wrote many books on the mining camps of Colorado. This one Originally Published in 1967 and reprinted many times is now long out of print. This book is considered to be one of his greatest works. He was the curator of the Cripple Creek District Museum for many years and got first hand information from many of the miners themselves along with access to many great photos.
