Several countries such as India, Ireland, and China established successful exportoriented Software industries; Jordan is attempting to engage in similar activities. This research investigates the Jordanian Software Industry by identifying success factors and challenges for Jordan to substantially increase software and IT services exports. A survey design and analysis was adopted as the method that guides the data collection and analysis ,based on review the previous literature and empirical investigation of the software export industry in Jordan, a questionnaire has been prepared consisting of Forty one questions distributing over six independent variables. The main question of the research is that: is there an impact of certain factors on the success of the Jordanian software export industry? the overall results of the empirical investigation did support the general framework, presented in the research model.
