Their relentless campaign spanned three continents and more than ten years. From Britain to New Zealand, from New Zealand to the West Indies and home again, they followed his every move, read his innermost thoughts. Wherever he turned, he was plagued by murderous stares, lewd insults and deadly threats delivered by subtle ventriloquism. Nowhere was safe, and no one would believe.
