In this book, the author explores the institutional dynamics that manifest in the sustainable management of inland fishery resources in the state of Kerala, India. Specifically, this book analyses the social interfaces that emerge in the context of modernised forms of fisheries governance and culturally/traditionally rooted resource management practices.
