Wo einst vor allem Tangoklnge durch die Gassen und Straen ertnten und sich Matrosen und Geschftsmnner in Bordellen und spter in riesigen Tangoslen mit den Frauen auf einen Tanz trafen, hat sich das Gesicht der Stadt gendert. Wer genau hinsieht, erkennt die sogenannten Villas miserias, zum Teil riesige Slums aus Wellblechhtten und ausgetretenen Pfaden, die sich durch die ganze Stadt und ihre Provinzen ziehen. Hier ertnen ganz andere Klnge, es ist die Cumbia Villera, Musik der rmsten der Stadt, die heute die Rolle des Tangos bernommen hat. Ihre Sprache bezieht sich vor allem auf den Lunfardo. In dieser Arbeit mchte ich die Herkunft und Kultur der Cumbia Villera beschreiben, die Etymologie verschiedener Worte in den Liedtexten erlutern und somit den Wandel der Umgangssprache in Buenos Aires in den letzten Jahren verdeutlichen. Alle angefhrten Definitionen sind, soweit nicht anders vermerkt, dem Novsimo diccionario lunfardo von Jos Gobello entnommen.
