Sogenannte ConstrainedGeometryKomplexe (CGCs) der 4. Gruppe auf Basis des CyclopentadienylsilylamidoLiganden (CpSiN) gehren zu einer der am besten untersuchten Klasse speziell abgestimmter organometallischer Verbindungen, die als hochaktive Olefinpolymerisationskatalysatoren bereits industrielle Anwendung gefunden haben. Das vorliegende Buch beschftigt sich mit der Synthese von CGCs mit chelatisierenden, monoanionischen CyclopentadienylphosphazenLigandensystemen (CpPN). Neben der Beschreibung einer neuen Synthesemethode zur Darstellung von CpPNLiganden ber eine anionische Variante der STAUDINGERReaktion werden Syntheserouten zur Darstellung von CpPNKomplexen der 4. Gruppe sowie entsprechender Hauptgruppenmetallverbindungen vorgestellt. Auerdem werden Komplexe der 4. Gruppe auf Basis zweier neuer Ligandenmotive besprochen: den von den CpPNSystemen abgeleiteten dianionischen CyclopentadienylPhosphoraniminato sowie monoanionischen CyclopentadienylPhosphazidoLiganden. Abschlieende Kapitel beschreiben schlielich die Anwendung der dargestellten Funktionsmolekle in der Polymerisationskatalyse.
