Jesse Stuart brings Greece, both ancient and modern, to life with his well loved sense of humor, color and poetic descriptions. Dandelion on the Acropolis is a unique account of Jesse and Naomi Stuarts travels in Greece in 1962. Jesse finds a dandelion growing on the Athenian Acropolis and wonders how much this tiny yellow flower knows about past civilizations that men have yet to learn. They window shop on Constitution Square at night. A Saturday is spent walking through the older part of Athens and the Agora where Socrates once walked. They traveled by boat to the island of Aegina and by plane to Thessaloniki. Trips were also made to Sounion, Patras, and Olympia. By tour bus they went to Corinth and Delphi, where Jesse has a conversation with the gods of ancient Greece. The reader shares this enjoyable exploration of Greece with Jesse and Naomi.

I was really looking forward to this art, but it arrived with some scuffs and the frame was warped. I had to return it. Hopefully, I can get a better one next time, but this one just didn’t meet my expectations.

Not quite what I imagined
I had high hopes for the Dandelion on the Acropolis, but the colors are not as vibrant as they appeared online. I still think it's a decent piece, just not as striking as I wanted it to be. Might be better in a different lighting.

Stunning artwork but fragile
This piece is stunning! The details are remarkable and it really brings the room together. However, I noticed a small crack in the frame when it arrived. I was lucky it didn’t break completely, but be careful when handling it!

Great but took a while to arrive
The artwork is beautiful and exactly what I needed for my office. However, shipping took longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating. Still, I love it now that it’s here!
