I got this illustrated edition of Dante's Divine Comedy for my literature class, and I’m blown away by the artwork! Gustave Doré’s illustrations really enhance the reading experience. It's a gorgeous book that feels like a treasure on my shelf.

Decent Edition But Some Drawbacks
While the illustrations in this edition of The Divine Comedy are impressive, I found the text itself a bit hard to navigate. The print size could be larger for easier reading. But, the artistic aspect really does make it a nice coffee table book.

A Perfect Gift for Literature Lovers
I bought this edition for my sister who loves classic literature. The illustrations by Doré are stunning, and the book itself is quite well-made. However, I wish it had a bit more context or introduction for the stories, but she adores it!

Disappointed with the Quality
I was excited to receive this book, but it arrived with some damage to the cover and a few pages crinkled. The illustrations are beautiful, but the condition was a letdown. Would’ve expected better for the price!
