This Is A Remarkable Novel, Written By The Acclaimed Storyteller Abdul Bismillah. Incredible In The Sense That Its Entire Structure Departs From The Conventional Clich Of A Novel. One Constantly Wonders Whether ItS A Human Story, A RoosterS, Or Both, Though ItS Neither Fantasy Nor Allegorical. The Protagonist Is A Rooster Who, Sensing A ManS Murderous Intent, Dives Into A Cesspool To Save His Life. But What Happened? Now, Even Getting Out Of The Cesspool Is Difficult. In Such A Situation, He Constantly Thinks: About Himself, About His Kind. And Not Just Thinks, He Struggles To Escape This Suffocating Environment. He Constantly Fights Hunger, Vortexes, And The Looming Death, Because He Wants To Stay Alive And Wants His Death, If It Comes, To Be Natural, Not Slaughtered By Humans. Thus, Through The Spectacle Of A Chicken Trapped In A Cesspool, This Novel Presents A Unique Portrait Of The Fear, Insecurity, And Terror Pervading The Entire Planet, And Of The Plight Of The Creatures Struggling For Survival Amidst These. However, It Is Not Merely An Explanation Of The Relationship Between Humans And Chickens; Rather, It Depicts The Lifestyle Of Roosters, Their Habits, Their Love Affairs, Their Aspirationstheir Entire Way Of Life. Perhaps This Is Why Readers Of Every Class Can Find Narrative Essence And Values In This Fable In Their Own Way.
