Even better than the first, only in part because all the groundwork has been laid already...I will say in this one, Rayla sure goes on a heck of an adventure, not knowing who to trust, and information is always being kept from her. I do find her to be a strong person, especially in light of what she has to go on...I highly recommend this book, and the whole series.
