About the Author Der Autor: Gnter Strassert wurde 1938 geboren. Er ist seit 1976 Professor am interfakultativen Institut fr Regionalwissenschaft der Univesitt Karlsruhe (TH). Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Regionalplanung/Regionalpolitik, Entscheidungstechnik und Biokonomie. Schwerpunkt der internationalen Zusammenarbeit: Lateinamerika.
