Facharbeit (Schule) aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Politik Internationale Politik Thema: Globalisierung, pol. konomie, Note: 1, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Konsumenten des westlichen Kulturkreises wurden sicher schon mindestens einmal in ihrem Leben mit den Herstellungsbedingungen ihrer Kleidung konfrontiert. Kinderarbeit', Hungerlhne' und Umweltverschmutzung' sind oft genutzte Schlagwrter, mit denen die Medien Aufmerksamkeit auf diese Begebenheiten lenken. Weil Kleidungshersteller schon vor Jahren erkannt haben, dass Konsumenten immer umweltbewusster werden, haben sie sich eine Menge einfallen lassen. Die Liste von kologisch und ethisch anmutenden Produktauslobungen wchst mehr und mehr. Natrlich', Recyclingfhig', Biologisch' oder Fair' prangt auf den Etiketten verschiedenster Textilien. Diese Wortfetzen sind oftmals ebenso nichtssagend wie irrefhrend, denn fr Textilien gibt es keine Kennzeichnungspflicht. Die Produzenten knnen hier unbehelligt ihr Unwesen treiben. Wie schlimm steht es eigentlich um die Textilindustrie und wie kann ich, als junger Konsument ohne festes Einkommen, etwas tun, um mich mit guten Gewissen einkleiden zu knnen? Genau auf diese Frage werde ich in meiner Arbeit eine Antwort suchen. Ich habe entschieden, eine bersicht der konventionellen und alternativen Produktion von Textilien zu schaffen. Vor allem werde ich jedoch darauf eingehen, ob Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene berhaupt die Mglichkeit haben, ihr kritisches Bewusstsein beim Kleidungskauf durchsetzen zu knnen.
