Um diese Elemente im Text ausfindig machen zu knnen, mu man die allegorische Erzhlweise Kleists beachten: Allegorisches Erzhlen heit ein Erzhlen mit Absichten, mit einem intellektuellen Einsatz, mit Wertvorstellungen im Hintergrund, die verteidigt oder etabliert werden mssen, oft in dieser Zeit auch: mit Gegenwartskritik. [...] Zum allegorischen Erzhlen gehrt, da nicht direkte Gegenbilder der Wirklichkeit in der Literatur zu finden sind und umgekehrt: da die Literatur nicht direkt und unverndert die Wirklichkeit projektiert (KOOPMANN 1990).
