Diese Klischees werden bertrieben und verallgemeinernd dargestellt und der Idealmensch' der Werbewelt entsteht. In der folgenden Arbeit wird der Wandel des Frauenbildes im Allgemeinen und in der NiveaWerbung im Besonderen nher beleuchtet. Die Frage nach Vernderungen in der Rolle der Frau im Zeitraum von 1912 bis 2004 und deren Darstellung in der Printwerbung der Marke Nivea ist ein fcherbergreifendes Thema, das sowohl in der Kunst und der Wirtschaft als auch in der Volkskunde und Kulturgeschichte angesiedelt ist. Im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung dieser Arbeit soll der kulturgeschichtliche Aspekt stehen, denn die Werbung der verschiedenen Zeiten ist stets auch als Kulturdokument zu verstehen, NiveaWerbung spiegelt daher auch immer den aktuellen Zeitgeist ihrer jeweiligen Entstehungszeit wider. Zu Beginn soll zunchst ein kurzer Einblick in die verschiedenen Frauenbilder der Werbung gegeben werden. Daran anschlieend wird die Marke Nivea vorgestellt und damit eine bersicht ber ihre Entwicklung seit der Entstehung bis zum heutigen Tag angegliedert. Einen dritten Abschnitt und das Kernstck dieser Arbeit stellt die Rolle der Frau in den Jahrzehnten des 20.Jahrhunderts und ihre Prsentation in der Werbung der jeweiligen Epoche dar. In den entsprechenden Themenkomplexen wird als Erstes ein berblick ber die zeitbezogenen Vernderungen in der Gesellschaft des spezifischen Jahrzehnts und den Wandlungen der Rolle der Frauen, ihrer Mode und in ihren Frisuren im Besonderen gegeben. Im Anschluss daran werden ausgewhlte NiveaReklamen oder Werbungen charakterisiert und mit dem zuvor Ermittelten in Beziehung
