In dem Seminar Einfhrung in die MontessoriPdagogik' wurden mir die Grundlagen dieser Pdagogik vermittelt. Ich wollte mich ber die Vorlesung hinaus noch vertiefender damit befassen und vorallem versuchen, dieses Konzept in der Praxis anzuwenden. Da ich im letzten Jahr ein vierwchiges Blockpraktikum an einer Schule fr Menschen mit einer geistigen Behinderung gemacht habe, interresierte mich besonders, wie sich die MontessoriPdagogik mit ihrem spezifischen Material bei diesen Kindern einsetzen lsst. Zunchst habe ich mich in dieser Hausarbeit mit dem Leben Maria Montessoris beschftigt. Es folgt ein allgemeiner berblick ber die MontessoriPdagogik. Ein weiteres Kapitel ist die Auseinandersetzung mit der MontessoriPdagogik und der geistigen Behinderung. Aus den verschiedenen Materialien habe ich exemplarisch das Goldene Perlenmaterial' herausgegriffen und dessen Einsatz im Mathematikunterricht vorgestellt. Durchgefhrt habe ich den Schulversuch in einer Schule fr Menschen mit einer geistigen Behinderung. Die Projektbeschreibung und die dabei erzielten Erkenntnisse wurden in einem weiteren Kapitel dargestellt.
