Jahrhunderts im Geschichtsunterricht' von Prof. Dr. HansMichael Krner im Sommersemester 2006 an der LudwigMaximiliansUniversitt Mnchen im Fachbereich Didaktik der Geschichte. Das, durch den Dozenten vorgegebene, Thema der Arbeit entspricht dem, des vom Verfasser vorgetragenen, Referats mit dem Titel: 1848 unter dem Aspekt der Jubilumskultur.'. Mit dem Dozenten wurde als Schwerpunkt der Arbeit das Jubilum von 1998 zu diesem Themenkomplex vereinbart. Die Arbeit soll keine Darstellung der Ablaufgeschichte der Ereignisse von 1848/49 leisten, sondern will versuchen, aufzuzeigen, wie exemplarische Aspekte der Geschehnisse dieser Zeit durch die Jubilumskultur als Vermittlungsinstanz von Geschichte vermittelt werden. Nach einer kurzen Darstellung von Entwicklung und Eigenart der Jubilumskultur im allgemeinen wird dann darauf eingegangen, unter welchen Vorzeichen die Vorgnge von 1848 im Umfeld der jeweiligen Jubilumszeitpunkte politisch und gesellschaftlich gesehen und gedeutet wurden. Danach finden der Bundesweite Wettbewerb des Bundesverbandes Deutscher Zeitungsverleger von 1998: ' Aufbruch zur Freiheit' und die darin prmierten Schlerarbeiten eine besondere Gewichtung. Zum Schluss wird der Themenkomplex 1848 fr die Geschichtsdidaktische Umsetzung im Geschichtsunterricht kurz bewertet.
