Product description Die Arbeit stellt eine umfassende Neueinordnung des Konzeptes der Selbstbestimmung der Vlker in seiner Anwendung durch die Staaten dar. Zentraler Punkt ist der Nachweis, da der Trger des Selbstbestimmungsrechts territorial bestimmt wird. Dies wird nicht nur durch die Geschichte vor 1990 bewiesen, sondern hat seine Besttigung sowohl in der Auflsung der Sowjetunion, dem Zerfall Jugoslawiens als auch der Teilung der Tschechoslowakei und thiopiens gefunden. Die Arbeit weist nach, da das Selbstbestimmungsrecht in der heutigen Zeit nicht nur Staatsvlkern zusteht, sondern aus der Auflsung des Staatsvolkes ein Selbstbestimmungsrecht fr innerstaatliche Gruppen erwachsen kann. Neben dem ueren Selbstbestimmungsrecht thematisiert die Arbeit auch das Recht auf eine reprsentative Regierung und das Recht auf Demokratie. About the Author Die Autorin: Frauke Mett wurde 1972 geboren und studierte Rechtswissenschaften in Bielefeld und Edinburgh. 1998 legte sie das Erste juristische Staatsexamen ab und seit 2002 ist die Autorin Referendarin. Die Promotion erfolgte 2003 in Bielefeld.
