Viktor Emil Frankl Begrnder der Logotherapie geht von einem unbedingten Willen zum Sinn im Menschen aus. Dieser Wille sei die Grundmotivation des Lebens berhaupt. Menschen, denen dieser Wille zeitweilig fehlt, kann die Logotherapie helfen, den Sinn des Lebens (neu) aufzuspren. Aufzuzeigen, warum gerade junge Menschen den Sinn ihres Lebens manchmal aus den Augen verlieren und ebenso Mglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, wie man eine sinnorientierte (heil) pdagogische Begleitung gestalten kann, soll Gegenstand dieser Arbeit sein. Sie gliedert sich in vier wesentliche Teile: im ersten Teil soll die Logotherapie Frankls in ihren Grundgedanken vorgestellt werden. Im zweiten Teil wird der Bezug zum Jugendalter als dem Lebensabschnitt hergestellt, in welchem der persnlichen Sinnsuche eine besondere Bedeutung zukommt. Speziell wird dabei auf die Entwicklungsaufgaben des Jugendalters und damit verbundenes Risikoverhalten eingegangen. Ebenso soll geprft werden, ob es Schutzfaktoren gibt, die fr den Entwicklungsverlauf Heranwachsender bedeutsam sind. Hier werden aktuelle Erkenntnisse der Resilienzforschung sowie der Salutogenese nach Antonovsky aufgegriffen. Im dritten Teil wird die Relevanz der bisherigen Erkenntnisse fr die Fachwissenschaft Heilpdagogik dargestellt, die Autorin entwirft ihr persnliches berufliches Selbstverstndnis. Eigene Reflexionen aus einem Praktikum an einer Frderschule fr Kinder und Jugendliche mit sogenannter geistiger Behinderung dienen dazu, Frankls Theorie zu prfen.
