Die Einbeziehung deutscher und englischer Gedichte dient dem Nachweis von Vorkommensdichte und Facettenreichtum der untersuchten Sprechsituation und will darber hinaus zu Vergleichen anregen (z.B. Carpe diem von Ronsard bis Yeats; Selbstgesprch bei Villon, Rimbaud, Gottfried Benn; Geliebtenpreis von Louise Lab bis Shakespeare; Totenklage bei Victor Hugo, Friedrich Rckert, Ted Hughes).
