DIE ZEITAbout the AuthorAnton G. Leitner, Jg. 1961, studierte Rechtswissenschaft und Philosophie. 1993 beendete er seine Arbeit als Jurist, um sich hauptberuflich der Literatur zu widmen. Neben seiner Ttigkeit als Herausgeber der Zeitschrift Das Gedicht und von acht Anthologien (u. a. bei dtv und Reclam) verffentlichte er Gedichte, Essays, Kritiken und eine Erzhlung. Er wurde mit dem Kulturpreis AusLese der Stiftung Lesen, dem V.O. StompsPreis der Stadt Mainz und dem KoggeFrderpreis der Stadt Minden ausgezeichnet. Im Jahr 2001 berief ihn die Stadt Darmstadt in die Jury des LeonceundLenaPreises. Leitner lebt in Weling (Landkreis Starnberg).
