Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Germanistik Komparatistik, Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, GeorgAugustUniversitt Gttingen (Seminar fr Deutsche Philologie), Veranstaltung: Kafka und die Moderne, 15 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Franz Kafka (18831924) gehrt unbestritten zu den deutschsprachigen Autoren, deren Werke sofort Assoziationen mit Gefhlen wie Verstrung, Bestrzung, Furcht, Beklemmung und Angst auslsen. Warum ist das so? Werden genannte Stimmungen durch eine besondere Erzhltechnik erreicht? Oder liegt es allein an den erzhlten Geschichten, die unglaubliches beschreiben und zugleich erschreckend realistisch sind? Diesen Fragen wird die vorliegende Arbeit nachgehen. Dabei steht das Gefhl der Angst im Vordergrund, welches an einem der letzten Texte Kafkas, die Erzhlung "Der Bau" (geschrieben im Winter 1923), untersucht werden soll. Angst wird dabei nach dem dnischen Philosophen und Theologen Sren Kierkegaard (18131855) definiert, dessen wegweisendes Werk "Der Begriff Angst" (1844) auch in Kafkas Privatbibliothek stand. Zudem werden Parallelen zum Begriff der "transzendentalen Heimatlosigkeit" nach dem ungarischen Literaturwissenschaftler und Philosoph Georg Lukcs (18851971) gezogen, der dieses Phnomen in seiner "Theorie des Romans" (1916) beschreibt. Einblicke in Kafkas Tagebcher und Briefe versuchen, ein Bild der ganz eigenen Angst des Autors zu zeichnen.
