Der Nachweis von Herztraumata ist fr die bildgebende Diagnostik eine Herausforderung. Beim Verstorbenen kann gezielt nach einer Herzverletzung gesucht werden, Belastungen durch Umlagerung, Wiederholung und Strahlenbelastung spielen keine Rolle, der Befund lsst sich durch eine Autopsie besttigen. Bei Lebenden knnen anders als bei Verstorbenen nicht immer alle Herzverletzungen erfasst werden. Der Nachweis eines Traumas mit bildgebenden Verfahren bietet beim Lebenden einen Vorteil/Beitrag fr die Behandlungsplanung, Prognoseabschtzung und Klrung eines Tat/ Unfallhergangs. Diesem steht der Nachteil einer Belastung des Patienten mit mglicher Gefhrdung gegenber, insbesondere bei fehlenden Konsequenzen fr eine Therapie. Darum wurden die mit der bildgebenden Diagnostik nachgewiesenen Verletzungen an Lebenden zusammengestellt, sowie mit der bildgebenden Diagnostik und/oder mit der Autopsie Verstorbener verglichen. Geprft wurde, welche Befunde der bildgebenden Diagnostik fr die Herzverletzungen beim Lebenden und beim Verstorbenen beschrieben werden und ob sich bei Verstorbenen Befunde erheben lassen, die bei Lebenden nicht erfasst wrden.
