In der freien Natur erlebte der Mensch der Frhzeit die Macht des Unheimlichen und sah sich ihr ohnmchtig ausgesetzt. [...] Die Naturwissenschaft ist eine der ersten groen Wissenschaften die bis heute gengend Forschungsmaterial liefert. Aufgrund ihrer Erkenntnis und das Verstndnis um die Sache begannen die Menschen sich aus ihr heraus zu arbeiten, in dem sie Selbstvertrauen sich selbst gegenber bildeten und das blinde Vertrauen in die Natur verloren. Sie vertrauten auf das was sie sich durch gezieltes Eingreifen von der Natur nahmen und nicht mehr auf das was sie ihnen von sich aus gab. 6 Diese prozesshafte Form der Entfremdung ist mehr als nur eine Gegenberstellung des Menschen zur Natur. Der Mensch stellt sich ihr im Laufe seiner Geschichte quasi direkt ber. So deutlich wie es die Bibel in ihrer Schpfungsgeschichte ausdrckt ...und mache Dir die Erde Untertan. Heute suchen wir Zufluchtsorte in der heilen Welt der Natur, wo alles immer wieder neu wird. Wir erfreuen uns an den ersten Sonnenstrahlen im Frhling genauso wie an dem ersten Schnee im Winter. Wir geben uns diesen Naturgewalten hin und fhlen eine gewisse Vertrautheit und Geborgenheit, wenn wir uns in ihr aufhalten. Nicht zuletzt aber vertrauen wir dem Wetterbericht, der Sturm und Lawinenwarnung, den Gezeiten Ebbe und Flut und dem Bergfhrer der sich auskennt. I
