Statt dessen orientierte sich die Fhrung der Unternehmen zunehmend an den Interessen der Aktionre (vgl. Hpner 2003: 15). Diese, auf den ShareholderValue ausgerichtete Unternehmensfhrung, baut auf eine langfristige Steigerung des Aktionrsnutzens. Daneben schritt die institutionell professionalisierte Verwaltung des Kapitals (vgl. Huffschmid 1999: 82) weiter voran und das Auftauchen neuer Akteure auf den internationalen Finanz und Kapitalmrkten wie etwa Hedgefonds oder PrivateEquityFonds hat eine Dynamik entfalten knnen, in der die Gier und das Streben nach mglichst schnellen und hohen Rendite zum Leitmotiv avancierten und dabei gleichzeitig massive soziale Einschnitte und Vernderungen hervorriefen und beschleunigten.
