Von 1924 bis 1928/29 absolvierte er das Doppelstudium Architektur an der Technischen Hochschule Wien und Kunstgeschichte an der Universitt Wien. Im Anschlu an die Promotion, Ttigkeit als selbststndiger Architekt. Zu seinen Arbeiten zhlen etwa der Flughafen Wien und die Generalplanung der Wiener Hafenanlage. Daneben ist er bis heute als Historiker ttig.
