I enjoyed 'Daughter of Fortune', but I felt some chapters dragged a bit. The setting is beautifully written, and the main plot kept me interested. Just wish it had a bit more pace in places. Still worth the time if you like historical novels.

I found 'Daughter of Fortune' to have some amazing characters, especially the strong female lead. However, I felt like the story took a while to develop in parts. I'd still recommend it, but with a heads-up about the slower moments.
