An erster Stelle sind Arbeiten zu nennen, deren Themen eindeutig militr und sicherheitsrelevant waren. Doch auch Kernkraftnutzung und Umweltbelastungen gehrten zu den Gebieten, die unter den vom SEDRegime extensiv ausgelegten Sicherheitsbegriff fielen. Im Systemwettbewerb wurde es auch fr wichtig erachtet, sportwissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse zu schtzen. Weiterhin wurden viele medizinische, psychologische und soziologische Dissertationen zu Themen der realen Arbeits und Lebensbedingungen in der DDR klassifiziert, weil aus ihnen eine DDRWirklichkeit erschlossen werden konnte, die mit den ideologischen Ansprchen der SED nicht bereinstimmte. Und schlielich sind Doktorarbeiten gesperrt worden, weil ihre Autoren wichtige Funktionen im Partei und Staatsapparat bzw. in der volkseigenen Industrie innehatten.Darberhinaus analysieren die Autoren das soziobiographische Profil der geheimen Dissertationen im allgemeinen und die Strukturen der Geheimhaltung im besonderen, wobei auch die Rolle der Gutachter untersucht wurde."(...)
