PrlogoEs de gran orgullo para m el haber podido escribir este libro De mi jardn de versos y ms que eso el poder publicarlo y presentarlo a mi pueblo y al mundo.La ruta de mi vida potica ha sido escarpada y llena de espinas. Desde que cursaba la escuela intermedia (196566) empezaron a brotar los versos sin yo tener conocimiento alguno de lo que es una poesa y menos de las ramificaciones y estilos. En 1970 cuando me fui a servir a las Fuerzas Armadas de Estados Unidos, ya haba escrito ms de 300 poemas, algunos includos en este poemario, pero todava no haba completado mi escuela superior.Poco a poco he ido puliendo mi pensamiento rstico, mayormente a base de la lectura. Por ms que he aprendido s que an me falta mucho por aprender, aunque siento tambin que la poesa es propia. Que cada escritor crea su propio cosmo a su manera y esa es precisamente la belleza que tiene nuestra literatura potica. Por lo tanto no pertenezco y nunca he pertenecido a las academias literarias grandes o pequeas, con fama o sin fama. Mi verso ms que nada es del camino, de las encrucijadas de la vida.La divisin de captulos que he creado para este poemario est basada en los diferentes estilos poticos que practico y no en los temas, ya que quiero usar este libro como introduccin a otras obras que saldrn ms adelante. Captulo III Endecadovis y Captulo VI Copas son estilos que he creado como un reto a mi pensar. Al principio de cada captulo hay una introduccin ms detallada sobre stos. En total son diez captulos que Endechas, sonetos, endecadovis, pinceladas, cuartetos, copas, madrigales, dcimas, poemas y en el ltimo captulo hay una mezcla de unos otros cinco estilos.
