In a desperate hope that I could somehow connect with my 21yearold son, Kurt, after he lost his life to depression and suicide, I began writing him letters. I had so much that I needed to say, an overwhelming amount of love left to give, and a frantic need for answers. How could my kind & beautiful son be gone without a chance for me to speak to him ever again? How could I possibly live my life without him here? How in the world could this have happened and shouldnt I have been able to save my own son? My letters, along with my art, are expressions of my pain, my grief & my neverending love for Kurt. This book is the beginning of my journey and an attempt to navigate a new and unwanted life without my son.

products, we have already made a big leap forward. This ranges from the
increased use of more sustainable fibers to the use of more
environmentally friendly printing processes to the development of
efficient waste management in our value chain.
