Have you ever found yourself in a situation and wondered how did you get to this point, this place, in this predicament? Maybe you just write it off as a string of bad luck or much deserved karma. That's the place I'm in right now. But instead of just passing it off as bad luck, I've decided to chase down a more legitimate answer. I was in a very bad spot when I began this book. There was actually a strong possibility that my life would end in this place, this confinement. I chose to kill two birds with one stone, one book. It all starts with my mommy. Ironically, if these were to be my last words, I would want her to hear them and to know that her baby boy misses her and loves her very much despite how life turned out for the both of us. It's been 15 years since we last talked; this is what's been going on since then. Please don't look at this book as another "help me find my mom" book but instead, read it as a book to help you look at your own mother in a new light, with a new life. This is my way of showing my mom how much I love her. I hope you can find your own way after reading this.
