Highstakes wine fraud and murder disguised as a heart attack compel Sunny McCoskey to again toss aside her chefs apron and don the role of sleuth. When the list of suspects includes her new lover, the celebrity chef at a posh Napa Valley eatery, the personal risks of her investigation rise dramatically. With the same eclectic crew of gourmet friends and sassy coworkers who helped her in Sharpshooter, Sunny proves that she has a nose for crime as well as for a good Cabernet Sauvignon.

I struggled to get into 'A Sunny McCoskey'. The writing style didn’t vibe with me, and the mystery felt predictable. Maybe it’s just not my genre, but I wasn’t impressed. I had to push myself to finish it.

Loved the Characters, Plot Lacked Punch
The characters in this book were relatable and quite fun, especially Sunny. However, the mystery itself was underwhelming. I expected more twists given the Napa Valley backdrop. Still, worth a read for fans of cozy mysteries!

Perfect for a Relaxing Weekend!
I picked this up for a weekend read, and it was exactly what I needed! The Napa Valley scenery painted in the pages was delightful, and Sunny's character had me laughing. A solid mystery that kept me entertained!

A Decent Read, but Not Great
This mystery was okay, but I found some parts dragged on a bit. The characters were interesting enough, but the pacing felt off at times. Still, it was nice to get a taste of Napa Valley through Sunny's adventures.

An Engaging Mystery with Depth
I really enjoyed 'A Sunny McCoskey' from Death by the Glass. The Napa Valley setting was beautifully described, making me feel like I was right there with the characters. The plot twists kept me on my toes until the very end!
