I loved 'Death of an Ex'! The plot kept me guessing with great twists. Vandy Myrick feels so real, and the small-town vibe really adds depth to the mystery. Perfect for a cozy evening read!

A Solid Sequel
As a fan of the first Vandy Myrick Mystery, I was excited to read this sequel. It didn't disappoint! The writing is engaging, though some parts felt a bit slow. Overall, still worth the read.

Not as Good as I Hoped
I wanted to really enjoy this book, but it fell a little flat for me. The main character is interesting, but the pacing was off and it took me a while to get into it. Not bad, just okay.

Intriguing Plot but Slow Pace
'Death of an Ex' had a compelling plot, but I found myself skimming through parts because it dragged on. Vandy is a fun character, but I wished for a quicker resolution. Still, I liked the mystery.

Disappointing Ending
I had high expectations for this book, but the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying. The whole buildup didn't pay off for me. I still appreciate Vandy as a character, but I wanted more from the conclusion.
