Sendungen respektive Formate die sich mit den realen Geschichten des wirklichen Lebens beschftigen, sind in den groen Bereich des Reality TVs einzuordnen und verzeichnen aktuell sehr groen Zuspruch. Eine dieser Sendungen ist die Super Nanny'. Diese Sendung steht im Fokus der vorliegenden Arbeit. Die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Format passiert hinsichtlich des RezipientInnenverhaltens, der Wirkung der Sendung und inwieweit die Vorgehensweise der Super Nanny Parallelen zur Sozialen Arbeit aufweist. Die Arbeit ist so aufgebaut, dass im ersten Abschnitt das Thema Medien im Allgemeinen und das Fernsehen als spezifisches Medium im Besonderen behandelt wird. Eine weitere Differenzierung findet dahingehend statt, indem die Super Nanny als besonderes Format des Fernsehens dargestellt wird. Die Auseinandersetzung mit der Sozialen Arbeit passiert anhand des Handlungsfeldes der Sozialpdagogischen Familienhilfe um anschlieend einen Vergleich herstellen zu knnen. Die angesprochene Gegenberstellung findet ebenso auf einer Metaebene statt, indem das Fernsehen als Medium und die Soziale Arbeit als Medium einem Vergleich unterzogen werden. Folgende Forschungsfragen dienen als Ausgangssituation: Warum/wie werden Fernsehformate wie die Sendung der Super Nanny' genutzt? Welche Parallelen bestehen hinsichtlich der methodischen Vorgehensweise zu den Methoden der Sozialen Arbeit? In welche Richtung wird sich das mediale Beratungsangebot im Fernsehen zuknftig entwickeln? Die vorliegende Arbeit ist eine Literaturarbeit. Des Weiteren wurde fr die Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage sekundranalytisch vorgegangen. Den Abschluss der Arbeit, bilden die Ergebnisse und die daraus abgeleiteten Handlungsempfehlungen
