Die hier vorgelegte politikwissenschaftliche Fallstudie wendet sich vor nehmlich an Studierende und Lehrende in den Sozialwissenschaften bzw. an Lehrende in den entsprechenden Unterrichtsfachern der Schu len, aber auch an die politisch interessierte allgemeine Offentlichkeit. Die Studie will die Frage nach den Moglichkeiten und Grenzen der EinfluBnahme eines Mitgliedes des zweithochsten Staatsorganes der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, des Deutschen Bundestages, auf den ProzeB der politischen Meinungsbildung im allgemeinen und auf inner parteiliche, innerfraktionelle und letztendlich parlamentarische Ent scheidungsprozesse im besonderen problematisieren helfen und damber hinaus praxisnah aufzuzeigen versuchen, unter welch en Voraussetzun gen man in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland zum MdB als Berufspoli tiker werden kann. 1m gegebenen Rahmen kann dabei nur exemplarisch vorgegangen werden. Die Untersuchung basiert unter anderem auf Quellenmaterial des Ver fassers (Protokolle, Aufzeichnungen, Briefwechsel) aus seiner Mitglied schaft im Deutschen Bundestag der 7. Legislaturperiode Material, das er eines Tages wunschgemaB dem Bundesarchiv in Koblenz fur die weitere auswertende Forschung Dritter zur Verfugung stellen wird.
