Seit dem 01. Mai 2006 ist der digitale Tachograph nun fr neu zugelassene Fahrzeuge Pflicht. Die Unternehmen sind nun gezwungen, sich mit diesem Themenfeld ausfhrlich zu beschftigen, um die eventuelle finanzielle Belastungen, aber auch die Vorteile durch die digitale Datenerhebung, die der digitale Tachograph bietet, besser abschtzen zu knnen. Dabei betrifft der digitale Tachograph einen groen Bereich des Unternehmens: Dies fngt beim Fahrer an, geht ber den Fuhrparkmanager, den Disponenten, das Archiv, das Controlling bis hin zu den eigentlichen Entscheidern im Management. Sie alle mssen sich mit dem digitalen Tachographen befassen, um den bestmglichen Weg und die Chancen fr ihr Unternehmen zu finden. Dies wird vor allem daher wichtig, da er als digitales Pendant zum analogen Fahrtenschreiber neben der eigentlichen Funktion, der Aufzeichnung von Fahrtdauer und strecke, noch eine Reihe von Zusatzfunktionen leistet. Gerade diese Zusatzfunktionen gilt es fr das Unternehmen zu erkennen und zu nutzen. Auf Basis eines dargestellten fiktiven Fallbeispieles zur Einfhrung von DTCO in Unternehmen wird mittels des Analytischen Hierarchieprozesses (AHP) eine Nutzenbewertung verschiedener Einfhrungsszenarien durchgefhrt. Der ermittelte Nutzen wird mit den zu erwartenden Kosten ins Verhltnis gesetzt und als Ergebnis wird eine Handlungsempfehlung und untersttzung gegeben. Die vorliegende Arbeit soll einen zusammenfassenden berblick ber das Thema bieten, deshalb liegt der Fokus hier weniger auf einer umfangreichen und exakten Darstellung aller technischen Einzel
