Das Werk steht allerdings nicht wirklich berzeugend vor uns und der Leser gewinnt das Gefhl, das das Ganze nur hchst subtil zusammengesetzt ist. In diesem Sinne hat schon im Jahre 1887 Roetteken die Geschichte des Erec als einen bunten Haufen von Abenteuern' bezeichnet. Problematisch ist in diesem Zusammenhang, dass der Text keine eindeutigen Signale liefert, die eine Grogliederung erlauben wrden. Im Ambreser Heldenbuch sind auch keine Groinitialen vorhanden, von denen auf eine Abgrenzung der verschiedenen Handlungsblcke geschlossen werden knnte. Daher waren die Bauprinzipien des Artusromans in den letzten Jahrzehnten Gegenstand lebhafter Forschung. In der folgenden Arbeit wird der doppelte Kursus genauer erlutert. Im Anschluss werden die Probleme errtert, die sich unmittelbar aus einer genaueren Betrachtung der Theorie ergeben. Danach wird Chrtiens Erec et Enide' im Hinblick auf Gliederungsmglichkeiten untersucht und das Ergebnis mit dem doppelten Kursus von Hartmanns Erec verglichen. Die Fragestellung wird also sein: Falls Hartmann den doppelten Kursus von Chrtien bernommen hat, hat er ihn genauso bernommen oder hat er den Aufbau gendert und wenn ja, warum? Welche Aspekte erschienen ihm wichtiger und welche wollte er in seiner Bedeutung reduzieren? Diese Fragen werden im letzten Abschnitt bearbeitet. [...]
