Zu der Zeit, als die NewEconomyBlase geplatzt ist, herrschte eine gewisse Skepsis gegenber den Neuerungen und Technologien des Internets. Allerdings waren die Umstnde damals noch etwas andere, heutzutage haben sich die Bedingungen des Umfelds im Bereich des Internets verndert, weshalb auch viele Technologien heute ganz anders mglich sind, als es noch vor einigen Jahren der Fall gewesen ist. Nicht nur die technischen Bedingungen haben sich weiter entwickelt, sondern auch immer mehr Menschen haben einen Zugang zum Internet und sind dem Internet gegenber offen und bereit, sich ber dieses Medium auszutauschen. Die Internetnutzung ist unter groen Teilen der Bevlkerung zur Selbstverstndlichkeit geworden. Die Nutzer des Internets sind erfahrener, profitieren von dem Wissen anderer und teilen es im WWW. Das Vertrauen in das Netz steigt wieder, die Gewinne der Unternehmen steigen und das Internet hat sich als Marketingplattform heraus kristallisiert.
