Doch die Brger suchen sich eigene Wege der politischen Partizipation um gegen soziale Missstnde, den Klimawandel und Umweltverschmutzung zu protestieren. Sie tun es leise, aber konsequent. Die Brger entdecken ihre Macht als Konsumenten. Die kologische Wende erfordert eine Vernderung unserer gewohnten westlichen Lebensstile. Dies fhrt zu der Frage: Lsst sich das Gute' mit dem kologisch richtigen' Leben in Einklang bringen? Der Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability und deren Vertreter, die so genannten LOHAS wrden diese Frage bejahen. Doch wer sind die Lohas und woher kommen Sie? Was sind ihre Werte? Sind die LOHAS Zeichen eines Wertewandels oder nur ein kurzfristiger Trend? Diese Fragen bilden den Hintergrund meiner zentralen Forschungsfrage: Welchen Einfluss haben die LOHAS auf unserer Gesellschaft, auf die Politik und wie prgen sie die Wirtschaft?' Auf diese Frage mchte ich detailliert in der vorliegenden Arbeit eingehen. In dieser Hausarbeit werde ich mich auf Deutschland beziehen. Im folgenden Kapitel werde ich die LOHAS charakterisieren und diese als Zielgruppe betrachten. Ebenfalls werde ich mich der Frage widmen: Was ist grn'? Eine Partei, eine politische Richtung oder hat grn' mit dem Klimawandel und dem breiten Interesse an kologischen Themen eine neue Bedeutung erhalten, die ber die politische Richtung hinausgeht? Nach dieser ersten Orientierung und Einfhrung in das Thema in Kapitel 3, werde ich in Kapitel 4 den Konsum als eine Form der politischen Partizipation darstellen und auf den politischen Konsum eingehen. Daraus ergibt sich die Frage ob die LOHAS als ein neuer Akteur zu betrachten sind. I
