Product Description Der Narziss Peer Gynt" widmet sich einem Aspekt von Henrik Ibsens Peer Gynt, der bisher in der deutschsprachigen Literatur kaum behandelt wurde. Der Fokus dieser Arbeit liegt auf der psychologischen Dimension Peer Gynts, die sich einerseits aus den Parallelen von Ibsens und Peers Leben, andererseits aus Ibsens Persnlichkeitsvernderung im Kontext der Entstehung des Peer Gynt erschliet. Peer Gynt gilt als bergangswerk" in Ibsens Schaffen, mit dem er letztlich zu seiner Identitt als Dichter fand. Insofern kann die Geschichte der Entstehung dieses Stcks viel zu einem tieferen Verstndnis seines Gesamtwerkes beitragen. Auch in der Inszenierungspraxis des Stckes spielt die psychologische Dimension eine Schlsselrolle, wie die Arbeit anhand der PeymannInszenierung mit Ulrich Mhe in der Hauptrolle am Wiener Burgtheater in der Saison 1993/94 zeigt. Die Arbeit behandelt folgende Fragen: Wie steht der Text von Peer Gynt mit Ibsens Leben und seiner zu dieser Zeit stattfindenden Persnlichkeitsvernderung, in Zusammenhang? Ist Peer die Maske" des Dichters Ibsen? Wer ist dieser Peer Gynt, wie kann man seine Persnlichkeit aus heutiger Sicht, psychologisch gesehen, einordnen? Wie hat Claus Peymann in seiner Inszenierung die psychologische Dimension des Stckes umgesetzt? About the Author Brigitte Fochler, geb. 1947 in Wien, arbeitete ab 1992 sieben Jahre als Sekretrin der Wiener Psychoanalytischen Vereinigung und vertiefte ihre seit ihrer Jugend bestehende Theaterleidenschaft ab 2000 mit dem Studium der Theater Film und Medienwissenschaft an der Universitt Wien, das sie 2006 mit der Magisterarbeit "Der Narziss Peer Gynt" abschloss.
