Die literarische Einleitung mittels Natur und Jahreszeitenbildern wurde bereits in der antiken Rhetorik verwendet. Dabei werden Jahreszeiten oft als Folie fr den Gemtszustand des lyrischen Ichs beschworen: gleichsinnig, etwa als Erwachen der Natur und der Lebens und Liebesfreude (SommerfreudeMinnefreude) [...]. Die Jahreszeiten werden in dreifacher Weise eingesetzt: als Natureingang (bes. hufig im 13. Jh.), als Jahreszeitenapostrophe, oft im Natureingang [...] und am hufigsten als kurzer Jahreszeitenbezug [...].' Verschiedene Phnomene und Vorkommnisse der Natur als Einleitungstopos werden dabei genutzt, um eine Stimmung zu etablieren. Bei Neidhart von Reuental haben diese Mittel allerdings eine viel weitreichendere Bedeutung: Die ersten sommerlichen Natureingnge gestaltet Dietmar [...], motivlich erweitert dann etwa Walther [...]. Neidhart baut den [...] Natureingang zum gattungsstiftenden Prinzip aus und erweitert diese Grundelemente nochmals [...].' Hier erscheinen besonders die Unterschiede zwischen Sommer und Winterliedern interessant, da die Liebe in die Natur und in die Jahreszeit eingebettet ist. Welche groe Rolle der Natureingang in seinen Liedern spielt, soll in dieser Arbeit anhand zweier Lieder Neidharts, dem Sommerlied 19 und dem Winterlied 6, aufgezeigt werden. In der Forschung wurde der Begriff der Naturlieder im Minnesang u.a. von Gnther Schweikle ausgearbeitet.
