Bertold Brechts Dreigroschenoper ist eigentlich das Produkt der Verbindung Bertold Brecht und Kurt Weill. Ohne die musikalischen Kompositionen Kurt Weills wre dieses Bhnenwerk wohl kaum derart populr geworden. In zahlreichen Lndern und auf noch mehr Bhnen wurde die Dreigroschenoper in den letzten Jahrzehnten gespielt, nachdem sie am 31. August 1928 im Theater am Schiffbauerdamm in Berlin, von dem spter von Brecht geleiteten Berliner Ensemble, mit sensationellem Erfolg uraufgefhrt wurde. Immer wieder finden auch heute, mehr als 50 Jahre nach dem Tod Brechts, neue Versionen des Stckes wie die von Klaus Maria Brandauer im Jahr 2006 , zusammen mit dem Punksnger Campino ihren Weg zum Publikum. Die Dreigroschenoper ist aber nicht blo ein ungemein populres und vergngliches Stck, vielmehr hat es Brecht einst als eine Sozialkritik geschrieben. Brecht sagte ber das Stck: Die Dreigroschenoper befat sich mit den brgerlichen Vorstellungen nicht nur als Inhalt, indem sie diese darstellt, sondern auch durch die Art, wie sie sie darstellt. Sie ist ein Referat ber das, was der Zuschauer im Theater vom Leben zu sehen wnscht. Da er jedoch gleichzeitig auch einiges sieht, was er nicht zu sehen wnscht, da er also seine Wnsche nicht nur ausgefhrt, sondern auch kritisiert sieht, [...], ist er prinzipiell imstande, dem Theater eine neue Funktio
